“Who says my poems are poems?
These poems are not poems.
When you can understand this,
then we can begin to speak of poetry.”
Taigu Ryokan (1758-1831 / Japan)
Art and beauty should not be put into a box and classified as this or that. But that every creation stands on its own and appreciated by itself and not compared.
We have to be willing to not put things/ideas/feelings into boxes, but appreciate their beauty within the measure of their creation.
